Marie-Ange Noue, PhD
Personal Profile
Marie-Ange Noue is a PhD chemist trained at Curie University in Paris and at the University of Houston. She started her career working as a research scientist in petrochemicals. She later found her niche upon joining EMD Serono in 2008, where she’s held a number of positions of increasing responsibility. In her current role as Senior Director, Head of North America Scientific Communications, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for activities related to Medical Information, Medical Communication, Medical Training, Medical Review, and Medical Education.
Outside her Medical role, Marie-Ange is very engaged in diversity and inclusion activities and has led several change initiatives. She led the unconscious bias workstream of the company’s Women in Leadership global action team, and is the founder of the Leaders of Color Action network, a North American initiative looking at helping the company create a more inclusive and welcoming work environment for people of color.
Marie-Ange is also very active and a known expert in her field outside of EMD Serono. She chairs the Board of Directors of the Canadian Medical information network, the global HIV Information system, and serves on the Executive Board of PhactMI.
A former model and former competitive show jumper, she spends her free time (outside of her husband and 3 children), at the local equestrian club or the local airport as she remains an avid horseback rider as well as a private pilot.
