​Associate Director, Patient Safety at Bristol Myers Squibb

 

Daniel Greco is an accomplished pharmacovigilance leader with progressive experience across risk management operations, country leadership, and global patient safety strategy. He currently serves as Associate Director, Patient Safety at Bristol Myers Squibb, where he partners with global and local teams to provide strategic guidance on risk management implementation across diverse regulatory environments worldwide. 

​

Daniel began his pharmaceutical career at Celgene as a Risk Management Specialist, managing a national Canadian risk minimization program aimed at preventing fetal embryo exposure to medicines with established teratogenic potential. Following the BMS aquisition of Celgene, he assumed leadership roles within Risk Management at BMS, including leading the Canadian Risk Management team, before expanding his scope to support markets globally through collaboration with Global Patient Safety teams. 

​

He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree in Pharmacovigilance and Pharmacoepidemiology from the University of Bordeaux, completed through the EU2P program. Daniel continues to practice pharmacy to remain closely connected to patient care and is recognized for his collaborative leadership, operational rigor, and commitment to advancing patient safety worldwide.
